As an Inventory Clerk, your day-to-day duties will be varied and essential to warehouse operations. You will be responsible for a range of tasks that require accuracy, diligence, and teamwork.

• Stock Reconciliation & Cycle Counting: Conduct regular physical counts of inventory, compare results with computerised records, and investigate and resolve any discrepancies to maintain high levels of stock accuracy.
• Receiving & Issuing Goods: Accurately receive incoming shipments, verifying quantities and condition against purchase orders. Efficiently pick, pack, and issue materials and products for outbound orders or internal use.
• Data Entry & System Management: Update inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) in real-time. Process adjustments, transfers, and write-offs, ensuring all system data is current and correct.
• Warehouse Organisation & Housekeeping: Maintain organised storage locations, ensuring goods are stored correctly, safely, and are easily accessible. This includes adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
• Reporting & Support: Generate basic inventory reports for supervisors, highlighting low stock levels, slow-moving items, or discrepancies. Provide general support to the warehouse team, which may involve some manual handling or operating equipment like pallet trucks (training provided).

To be successful in this Inventory Clerk role in Liverpool L8, you will need a combination of practical skills, the right attitude, and relevant experience.

• Proven Experience: Previous experience in a similar inventory, warehouse, or stock control role is highly desirable. Experience as a General Labourer with exposure to stock handling is also valued.
